Activity Detail: Celebrating the Winter Solstice Together
Celebrating the Winter Solstice Together
Faculty and students gathered to celebrate the Winter Solstice by making dumplings and sharing a warm evening together.

The Winter Solstice is one of the most important traditional festivals in China, symbolizing reunion and warmth. To enrich group life and strengthen connections among members, faculty and students gathered together to celebrate the occasion by making dumplings and sharing a memorable evening.
During the event, everyone participated in different stages of dumpling making, from preparing fillings and rolling dough to wrapping and cooking. Although students came from different regions and had their own unique styles of making dumplings, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, cooperation, and enjoyment.
While waiting for the dumplings to cook, group members shared stories about their research, studies, and future plans. The gathering provided a welcome opportunity to step away from daily academic work and enjoy meaningful conversations in a relaxed environment.
The warm dumplings not only brought comfort on a cold winter day but also strengthened the bonds among faculty members and students. The event reflected the supportive and collaborative culture of the research group and created lasting memories for everyone involved.
We hope all members will continue to grow, explore, and achieve success in both research and life in the coming year.
